A Night Out, Methow Valley Style

Winter nights are long in the rural Methow Valley, tucked away on the eastern edge of the North Cascades. Here are few shots from a recent overnight trip to a local summit.

_10B8617 Reynolds Peak, another one of the high summits in the Sawtooth Wilderness, and often a climbing objective for students on mountaineering courses through the Northwest Outward Bound School which has a basecamp in the Methow Valley.
