Lew George photos of salmon in his smoke house.

A Fisherman's View of the Big River

Lew George, a Yakama man, has been fishing the Big River since he was a child in the same places his ancestors have fished for millennia. In his early adulthood, after a couple of community college photography classes, he also started taking pictures of the river, fishing, and his community. Photos of some of his prints and my work documenting his life on the River.
